The original log walls of the
Haida room have been refinished to reflect the modern atmosphere of the main
Lodge.
The Haida is adorned with original museum quality Haida drums and hand-painted
paddles and carvings. The Haida has garden level views of the ocean, is steps
away from the white sandy beach, and is filled with the fragrance of the
stargazer lilies in the gardens just outside your door.
About the Lodge
Come enjoy Pacific Coastal living at its finest at one of the Pacific
Northwest's undiscovered oceanfront jewels.
Let the sun wrap around you in this fabulous light filled space.
Beautifully decorated guest rooms, large open lounging areas, comfortable yet
elegantly furnished, provide a wonderful ambience.
Surround yourself in rich history . . . the gallery of local artwork, including
original native carvings will take you back to an earlier time.
Relax in the beachfront spa, and take in the spectacular ocean views, watch the
bald eagles soar and the harbour seals play in their natural surroundings.
Comfort and warmth of the gracious facilities await you after your day of whale
watching, salmon fishing, or just a quiet walk along the beautiful sandy beach.
The Lodge offers panoramic views of Victoria's skyline, the Straight of Juan de
Fuca, and across to Mt. Baker and the Olympic Mountain range. Had enough of the
sea and sand? The nearby community of Sooke, Metchosin and Victoria invite you
to meander their artists' studios.
