This log cottage, built on an acreage and very private, will appeal to your affinity for the natural, historic and handmade. Forget the one-room cabin, this cottage was lovingly built by the owner.
The main floor consists of a kitchen/dining area, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room/mud room. The sitting area has a pull out sofa. On the second floor which is very separate and private you will find another bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and pull out sofa.
The cottage has been built with a wheel chair ramp and the bathroom will also accommodate a wheel chair. The gardens are left in their natural state, which compliment the cottage setting. Guests are invited to use the hot tub at the main house. The views from both floors are outstanding. To the left you will see the mountains of the mainland and to the right lies the deep blue pacific ocean.
Only a short drive from the shops, art galleries and recreation and entertainment on the island.
Take in the Salt Spring Saturday morning market and enjoy the local cheese, wine, fruits and
vegetables, which are made or grown on island farms.
