RESERVATION PROCEDURE
Please review
our
inventory and submit your enquiry, via the “Request it” button on the specific page of the home you wish to rent. Upon receiving the request, we will confirm availability and provide you with a detailed cost of the rental. When you have made your decision, please email us. At this point we will email your Rental Agreement.

GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT
The formal Rental Agreement will be sent by email. Please print the agreement, complete and sign it.
FAX YOUR SIGNED COPY IMMEDIATELY to our office at 1-250-537-2582. and then return the entire agreement by mail.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION
Receipt of the faxed signature will suspend the property’s availability for
10 days. Further requests for the same time frame will be placed on a waiting list. If we do not receive the signed agreement and the required payment, as set out below under
PAYMENT, within the 10 days, we will release the property for rental to others.
We will confirm your payment by sending you an email.

RENTAL RATES
All rates are in Canadian dollars. The Federal Goods and Service tax (GST) of
6% and the Hotel Room Tax (PHT) of 8%
may apply.
Non residents of Canada can apply to the relevant government for a tax rebate. The proper forms and an explanation of the entire process are available at the
Government of Canada web site
for further information.

PAYMENT:

Plan A
For reservations made more than 45 days before the arrival date:
- 50% of the rental/deposit amount upon booking. An invoice will be sent by email
- The balance no later than 45 days before the arrival date. An invoice will be sent by email
Plan B
For reservations made less than 45 days before the arrival date:
- 100% of the rental/deposit amount upon booking. An invoice will be sent by email.
- Upon all payments clearing your financial institution, your booking will be confirmed.
PLEASE NOTE: the cost of currency conversion or credit card surcharges are included in the payment and are due to the costs imposed on us by our own bank and credit card payment company.

CANCELLATIONS
Confirmed reservations are non-refundable. However, if you must cancel,
we will attempt to re-rent the property and, if successful, you will be
refunded, whichever is the lesser of the two, (a) the rental payments
received less a 10% cancellation fee, or (b) a pro rata portion based
upon the re-rental. We recommend cancellation insurance, if you think
you may have to cancel. In some areas trip cancellation coverage is
available from (a) some financial institutions (b) most insurers/ agents
or brokers and (c) some credit card providers extend most forms of
insurance to their cardholders.
The damage/security/housekeeping deposit is refundable.

DIRECTIONS AND KEYS
After having received the signed Rental Agreement and with your final payment clearing your financial institution, we will then send you directions to the home, the location of the key and any information you may require regarding the vacation
property.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Reservations are generally from Saturday to Saturday, although there are exceptions. Please check the rental calculation we sent to you.
CHECK IN TIME IS 4:00 P.M. AND CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00 A.M. Please adhere to these times, so that the property may be prepared for other guests.

HOUSEKEEPING/SECURITY/DAMAGE
Prior to your arrival, the vacation property will be cleaned. Following your departure, the home will be returned to the same cleanliness. The cost of cleaning will be deducted from the security/ damage/housekeeping deposit.
There will be a minimum 2 hour charge so that the housekeepers can assure the owner of the home cleanliness On average you may expect 4 - 5 hours cleaning time depending on the condition of the house upon your departure.

TELEPHONE
Most hosts have blocked long distance calls from their telephone service. The vacationer should be aware of this feature and make arrangements should they wish to make long distance calls. Your own telephone service provider’s calling card may be acceptable to the provincial supplier, Telus B.C. (please check) or a calling card may be purchased from local merchants.
